Colbys Corner Store is a non-smoking home based business that we run on our farm. We have 25 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We share our home with several adopted and rescued animals. Is there any other kind?

Moving from NY to NC in 2007 was a welcomed and much needed change for us. We're jeans and workbooks people - "country folk" at heart. Our days always include computer work, packing orders, shipping, inventory, emailing, making Homemade Treats for customers, and shoveling poo, fixing fence, tending dogs, feeding cats, giving out daily medicine... all a labor of love. I always dreamed of having a farm and being able to take in animals in need...this was a dream come true-I'm so thankful for what we have.

Our farm, Bellaview Farm, is named after my adopted TB mare Bella. Colbys Corner Store is named after my first horse and love of my life Colby. We have 2 other adopted horses that have limitations, Winnie, and Sonny, 3 dogs: Lizzy, Sam, and Benny, 2 cats: Razzle, and Coonie, and always room and love for someone else. You can meet the rest of the gang in the "meet our kids"! Yes, I'm one those people that cry at the Sarah McLaughlin commercial about the ASPCA, and yes I go an adopt the oldest, sickest animal-because nobody wants them, and yes my heart breaks whenever I think of those I've loved and that have gone to Rainbow Bridge. So I guess you know...

I LOVE animals, and even that word isn't passionate enough for me. I'm sure there are those of you that totally understand what I mean. We have had animals all our lives, and usually with that comes the expense of keeping them happy, healthy, and safe. After a lot of research and trial and error, we finally found affordably priced items. So...we decided to offer other animal lovers the same thing we found - quality products at affordable prices. Something that's hard to find these days!

Why do we do this? Because we love our animals and love to spoil them, and we know that there are other people out there just like us! So we created Colbys Corner Store and made it easy for us animal lovers to be able to keep our pets happy and healthy. We found that what the big companies charge is ridiculous! We have no employees to pay, no store front, just a BIG area full of our items. So, it's easy for us to pass affordable prices on to you, and with personalized customer service! Plus...we use or have used everything we sell, so we know first hand that it works. If we try it and don't like it-we won't sell it.

You will also find that we take our own pictures of some of the items we sell. We want you to see EXACTLY what your getting. No surprises here! Nothing like ordering an item on a website only to find out that what you received looks different than what was pictured. Some pictures we do scan, because they are true to their photos. We also love adding our customers pictures to the site-this has been so much fun for all of us. Browse through and see what we have, you just might find exactly what you were looking for. We are always adding new items, so your input is welcomed.

We want everyone to be able to spoil their pet, that's why we keep our prices affordable... and our shipping is unbelievable. We don't believe in luring customers in with crazy low prices for items only to turn around and gouge them with a high shipping charge. I see this so many times from websites.

We've been told by customers, that we're cheaper than their local tack shops and pet stores! That's a nice compliment for us!

While, we are a home based business, and don't have the manpower of the larger companies, Greg & I DO have the commitment of providing you with excellent, personal, warm, and friendly customer service. When you do business with us you'll find that we are honest people, who believe in treating others the way we would want to be treated.

I'm the one that answers the phone, pulls your order, orders items, answers your emails, and keeps up with the website. Greg packs your order up, prints your invoice, and goes to the Post Office to mail it every day. So, we really are a husband and wife team...AND we get a long and have fun!
